I learn something new today despite having amiss pass few days news of the world and its happening. I just discovered that there is this tribe called Uyghur in China . Apparently this tribe have been around since 744 A.D !Having a history of being a nomadic tribe ( yes those people who move from one place to another ) , Their history have four distinct phases:
Pre-Imperial (300 BC – 630 AD), Imperial (630–840 AD), Idiqut (840-1209 AD), and Mongol (1209–1600 AD), with perhaps a fifth modern phase running from the death of the Silk Road in 1600 AD until the present.
Ok enough with all the history lesson , point being is that currently , they are going through political tension with the event of 5th July riot in Ürümqi , the capital city of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, in northwestern China. The riot is caused by an ongoing ethnic conflict between Han Chinese and Uyghurs . At 156 deaths have been reported due to this and more than 1000 injured .
Michael Jackson is no longer around . At least he is able to sing "Heal The World" to them.
